Squared Uploader — Privacy Policy

Squared Uploader is a private desktop tool operated by the owner of the YouTube channels Squared Science (@SquaredScience) and Squared RU (@squared_ru). It is used only by the channel owner to publish the owner's own videos.

# what data the tool accesses

With the owner's consent (Google OAuth), the tool uses the YouTube Data API to read basic information about the authorized channel (channel ID, title, handle) and to upload videos, titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails to that channel.
The tool does not access, collect or store data of any other YouTube users or viewers.

# storage and sharing

OAuth tokens are stored only locally on the owner's computer and are never sent anywhere except Google.
No data is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.

# revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The tool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy. It uses YouTube API Services in accordance with the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
